Brandon Herrera

Herrera is a Radio-Television-Film student at the University of Texas at Austin who has a keen interest in sound mixing and screenwriting. Herrera is a budding mixer in the sound mixing community who also dabbles in post-production sound mixing and re-recording mixing. Despite most people knowing him for his work in sound, Herrera has a passion for writing and directing which he hopes to pursue more fervently.
Herrera's work as a writer/director has led to the creation of multiple acclaimed films such as "The Student Film." He recently dissolved and reintegrated his previous production company into the newly polished BRAB Pictures. He is exceptionally proud and excited to continue making films and sharing his stories with his friends and followers.
Working at the Moody College Equipment Checkout brought Polymenis and Herrera together as collaborators. The two often bounce new ideas around with each other and frequently collaborate or are involved with each others projects. Herrera has collaborated on many of Polymenis's films, most recently "Kindred," while Polymenis is currently Producing Herreras upcoming film "Se Lo Merecia."
Xavier Ingram
Ingram is a recent graduate of the Radio-Television-Film program from The University of Texas at Austin. Over the years he has developed numerous film projects; many of which have been recognized by UT and won awards at local festivals. He's been known for making incredibly ambitious passion projects and taking creative risks in order to fulfill his vision.
While in school, he helped lead Texas Black Lens, an organization centered around mentoring Black student filmmakers. He also executive produced Longhorn Latenight, a live sketch comedy show at the student run TV station, TSTV. Ingram specializes in writing and directing comedic thrillers (with a pinch of drama and romance sprinkled throughout). He aims to bring the stories of BIPOC to the forefront of his work, and his latest film, "There's a Klansman in the Trunk!," is a good representation of the boundaries he's willing to push to tell those stories.
Ingram and Polymenis's first official collaboration was in their Cinematography course when Polymenis and Xavier partnered up to Co-DP Polymenis's film "Kindred." In general the two enjoy bouncing ideas off each other and are ultimately great supporters of each others work and values. The two hope to collaborate again in the future or simply catch up over a cup of coffee!

She gained a large amount of respect for the entire art department team and is intrigued to continue pursuing work outside of the electric department. Plumb hopes to continue working in the film industry wherever it leads as she continues to broaden her filmmaking knowledge.
Plumbs work as a gaffer led to her meeting Polymenis on the set of “The Immaculate Deception,” where the two quickly bonded and founded a kindred DP/Gaffer relationship. Most recently Plumb gaffed Polymenis’s Undergraduate Thesis Film “η πατρίδα (The Homeland).” The two are excited to continue working with each other on projects, hopefully in the near future!

The initial collaboration between Turgeon and Polymenis began when Polymenis reached out to Turgeon to be the Assistant Producer on MFA Pre-Thesis film “Vaivén.” Polymenis had heard about Turgeons interest in producing from fellow filmmaker Brandon Herrera.
