Ονειρειος Films is a collective of filmmakers, founded by Polymenis, who continue to maintain and uplift our values.
You might be wondering what Onirios means. Onirios, or it's true form: Ονείρειος, is the Ancient Greek word for a dream like state - almost dreamy.
For founder Athená Polymenis, incorporating her Greek heritage into her work and the company which houses hers and others work was paramount.
When creating the image which exemplifies Ονείρειος, Onirios, Polymenis was felt it was important to incorporate specific nods to her Greek heritage.
The logo features a few nods, such as an evil eye, nine lines to symbolize the Greek flag, and initials from close family members. Polymenis also took the time to work with fellow filmmaker and animator, Tatum Ostos, to add some life to the amalgamation of lines and curves that create the haphazard dream scape of the Onirios Films logo.
